Indian Captive

Indian Captive the story of Mary Jemison, by Lois Lenski, has 298 pages. It is about a 12 year old girl who used to spend her days on her families's peacful farm, until a band of warriors invades and teaches her the Seneca traditions. Then she finally has a chance to return to her family, who she missed terribly. But she had now become a Seneca. How could she return now?

The Secret Garden

The Secret Garden, by Frances Hodgson Burnett, has 271 pages. It is about three almots-dead-lost-strength-to-survive kids who run into a secret garden. But, to open the gate and survive, each must do their special talent. I would not reccomend this book, it was a little boring.

Matilda

Matilda, by Roald Dahl has 240 pages. It is about an undertreated little girl, who's parents are very mean. The plot of this story is close to the first Harry Potter book. I would reccomend it.
